Rommel is the Founding Principal and Chief Operations Officer at Forge Craft Architecture + Design, established in 2014 to improve lives through the art and science of architecture and design. Before Forge Craft, Rommel’s work in Europe and across the U.S. centered on ambitious, large scale urban developments. Additionally, Rommel serves on the Board of Directors for the Austin Creative Alliance, is a member of the ULI Austin chapter’s Creative Cultural Sector Committee, and serves on the advisory board of ATX Theatre, which represents over 80 local theatre companies. When he’s not working, Rommel enjoys cooking and traveling with his partner Elizabeth and their dog Gussie.
